Bancor Hack: $23.5 Million worth crypto stolen

The Bancor hack is now all over the news, a decentralized exchange which got hacked where attackers allegedly stole $23.5 Mil worth of cryptocurrencies. A twitter feed from Bancor reported that 24,984 ETH (approx $12 million), $1 million worth of NPXS and $10 million worth of BNT were stolen.

The exchange is now ready to reactivate the network and the operations will soon be up and running.

Less than an hour ago the exchange posted another Twitter feed stating that the exchange will soon activate its network.

The crypto exchanges are facing a lot of attacks. These attacks are the real test of the security of the exchange. And it is also vital that how the exchanges react and respond to such issues and minimizing the effect of the intrusion.
